We’re introducing a competition for the best movie footage of Skelwith Fold by a non-professional – taken during days times both past and present – all are welcome.
If you’re one of our many visitors who brings along a video camera to do a little filming during your breaks, we’d love to see your footage. Please enter your favourite movies into our new competition.
THE PRIZE
What you might win...
The winning two entries will win a fantastic FILMING & TRAINING DAY at Skelwith Fold.
Former Granada TV cameraman Paul Allonby will spend half a day with you, offering lots of invaluable hints and tips, and weather permitting in the afternoon you’ll be able to shoot from the skies over Skelwith from a helicopter.
Closing date
The competition will close on the 31st of August 2010 and be judged during September by former Granada TV cameraman Paul Allonby and Skelwith Fold’s Henry Wild.
Announcing our winners
We’ll get in touch with each of our two winners as soon as the judging has taken place. Everyone who has submitted a film into the competition will be notified through our email newsletter in September.
The Prize will be during October 2010. Before entering please make sure you can be available to attend the FILMING & TRAINING DAY, which will take place in October on a mutually acceptable day. We'll arrange the final details once the two winners have been informed.

Submit your entry
STEP 1
Prepare your video for upload.
Your film should be:
• Up to 10 minutes in length
• Up to 2GB in size
• In a YouTube compatible file format – click here
STEP 2
Once you are happy, upload your video to YouTube and submit the link using the form below.

Copy the link from YouTube once it’s uploaded, and enter it onto our ONLINE ENTRY FORM here.
3. Select which of the 4 categories you will be entering your film against:

You will then be able to view the link to your video on our RECENT ENTRIES page.
